‘The Simpsons’ Pay Tribute To Marcia Wallace

'The Simpsons' Pay Tribute

Last night, ‘The Simpsons’ paid tribute to their fallen star, Marcia Wallace, who sadly passed away in recent weeks. Wallace voiced the infamous Edna Krabappel in the FOX show, who worked as a teacher at Bart’s school and was also in a relationship with The Simpson family’s ‘quirky’ neighbour, Ned Flanders.

Despite several run-ins in the show, last night’s episode showed Bart paying his respects to ‘Mrs K’ in the opening sequence, in which Bart is usually being ordered to write lines on the blackboard.

‘We’ll really miss you Mrs. K.’ is all that was written, but any fans of the show will see this as a very touching tribute.

RIP Marcia Wallace, your voice (and laugh) will forever be remembered.
